Why does MyMeetly need my location all the time, even when I'm not using the app?
Proximity notifications only work if MyMeetly can check your location in the background — that's the entire point of the app. You can turn this off anytime in iOS Settings → MyMeetly → Location, which simply stops notifications from arriving.
Can someone see my location without my permission?
No. A match is only created when both people have independently added each other to their loop. Adding someone who hasn't added you back gives you no visibility into their location at all.
How do I remove someone from my loop?
Open the friend's row in your loop list and turn off the toggle. This takes effect immediately and stops any future matching with them.
Someone is making me uncomfortable — what do I do?
Remove them from your loop immediately, then use the form below (choose "Safety concern") or email us directly. We take these reports seriously and can suspend accounts that violate our Terms of Service.
How do I delete my account and data?
Use the form below with the "Delete my account" topic, or email us. We'll confirm your identity and remove your profile, loop entries, saved places, and location history within 30 days.
